Stratford-upon-Avon is a beautiful medieval, historic market town located in the county of Warwickshire, in the Midlands. The town is a popular tourist destination, being the birthplace of William Shakespeare. The busy town is divided by the River Avon and is surrounded by small industry, retail and hostelry. Stratford has convenient train and bus links to Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa and Birmingham and good road networks to the M40.
The town offers a wealth of high street shops, and plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafés and bars all within walking distance.
